Police said Maurice Latorre is responsible for three separate carjackings in Lincoln Heights and Boyle Heights, and he's still on the run.
Los Angeles Police are searching for the man they say tried to carjack three women in one day, including one woman who appeared to be getting into the car with her young children.All three attempted carjackings happened on Nov. 9, within miles of each other, and each of them was caught on security footage. Police said 49-year-old Maurice Latorre was responsible for all the attacks.The first one happened around 10 a.m. at a gas station on North Broadway in Lincoln Heights .

Surveillance video showed the man grabbing the driver's side door, trying to get into the car. Another woman and two young girls were on the other side of the car.
