One man is in the hospital and another man is in custody after an altercation turned into a shooting just south of downtown.
The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. in the 1000 block of South Alamo Street, not far from South St. Mary’s Street.
According to police, a fight between two men in their 30s led to one of them pulling out a gun and shooting the other multiple times in the lower extremities.SAPD said the suspected shooter was detained on scene. A reason for the fight was not given. The San Antonio Police Department, the San Antonio Fire Department and EMS all responded to the call.About the Author:
