Houston police received a call around 11:25 p.m. about an auto-pedestrian accident in the 6200 block of Westheimer, HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sgt. Pham said at the scene. Houston police are investigating after a man was fatally hit by the driver of a Toyota 4Runner Friday night in south Houston.The Toyota 4Runner was traveling west on Westheimer when the man ran across the street, not a crosswalk, Pham said.An HPD DWI unit checked out the driver of the Toyota, who didn't show any signs of intoxication, according to Pham.
