The 66-year-old from Brielle suffered serious injuries in the crash in Wall, police said.
A 66-year-old man riding an electric bicycle was seriously injured at a Route 35 in Wall on Tuesday after colliding with a vehicle, authorities said.
The Brielle resident was riding east on Lakewood Road when a vehicle southbound on Route 35 collided with him in the intersection at about 3:50 p.m.,The driver of the vehicle — a 36-year-old Toms River woman — has not been charged. The crash remains under investigation. Traffic was detoured for about two hours, police said.
