David Treviño, 43, was crossing Culebra Road not far from his home before he was struck.

David Treviño, 43, was crossing San Antonio's deadliest street, Culebra Road, just east of the Northwest 36th Street intersection early Wednesday, just after midnight.Andrew Jason Gonzales, 50, was driving the pickup that hit Treviño in the next lane and sped away, investigators said. Treviño died at the scene. He lived nearby, and several of his family members were present moments after he died.
Although Gonzales returned to the scene sometime later, police said he was not cooperative and was arrested.
