A man died Thursday morning after a shooting in the 1700 block of North Race Street in Denver’s City Park West neighborhood.

A man died Thursday morning after a shooting in Denver’s City Park West neighborhood.

The shooting was reported in the 1700 block of North Race Street, according to a 7:23 a.m. tweet from the Denver Police Department. UPDATE: The victim in this incident has been pronounced deceased and this is now being investigated as a homicide. The Office of the Medical Examiner will provide victim ID. Investigation is ongoing. Updates will be posted to this thread when they are made available.Police said the man who died is the only victim they have found.
