Man fatally shot in the head after being asked to leave southeast Houston restaurant
Houston police investigate a shooting where a 26-year-old was allegedly shot after being asked to leave a restaurant.A man was shot and killed early Sunday in southeast Houston reportedly after being asked to leave a restaurant, apparently due to intoxication, according to Houston police.The man, 26, had been drinking with friends at Bombshells Restaurant and Bar, 12810 Gulf Freeway, but restaurant security asked him to leave, Lt. Ignacio Izaguirre told On Scene TV reporters.
Around 12:30 a.m. the 26-year-old then was found fatally shot in the head in the parking lot. Friends of the victim told police he had arrived at the restaurant alone and left alone, but his pickup was missing from the parking lot, Izaguirre said. Police were looking into whether it was stolen.
