A man in his 50s had to be extracted from his vehicle by firefighters following a rollover crash on the city’s far West Side early Tuesday morning.
The crash happened around 12:30 a.m. near Highway 151 and Ingram Road, not far from Potranco Road and Loop 410.
According to police, the man became pinned between the driver-side door and the ground after rolling his pickup truck into a highway pillar. It is unclear exactly what caused the crash. The injured man was taken by ambulance to University Hospital, where he’s listed in critical condition.
