A 33-year-old man, suspected of driving under the influence and running a red light, has been arrested in connection with a crash that left a 55-year-old dead.
Jamie Donnelly A man has died weeks after another driver crashed into him while driving under the influence on Tucson’s east side, Tucson police said.
Jon Franklin Jones, 55, the driver of the Toyota, was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital with life threatening injuries. Howell was arrested on suspicion of aggravated DUI, aggravated assault and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Jamie Donnelly covers breaking news for the Arizona Daily Star.
