Some children and other adults inside the residence were not injured, authorities said.

The shooting happened about 11 p.m. Sunday in the 7800 block of Arthur Street, a primarily residential area not far from Arroyo Viejo Park.

Someone standing outside the building fired numerous shots into the home, with bullets going through walls of the residence. Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to $15,000 in reward money for information leading to the arrest of the shooter.
