Valerio Rodriguez, 37, is charged with murder in the death of James Durr, court records show.
Houston police around 9:40 p.m. Jan. 4 responded to a shooting in the 1000 block of Hogan Street. Officers found a man at a gas station with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital, where he died. Witnesses told investigators the man was arguing with two other men, when one pulled out a gun and shot him once.
Court filings don’t explain exactly how investigators connected Rodriguez, who also goes by the name, Butter, to the shooting.
