He now faces life in prison without the possibility of parole.
Napoleon Eduardo Castro was captured in El Salvador and turned over to Los Angeles police by the FBI on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2019, to face charges in the stabbing and torture death of his estranged wife, Olga. A man extradited from El Salvador in connection with his estranged wife’s stabbing death in Pacoima more than a decade ago has been convicted of murdering her.
The jury also found true the special circumstance allegations of torture and lying in wait, according to the District Attorney’s Office.
