A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after three people were killed in Nottingham city centre early on Tuesday morning, Nottinghamshire Police said.
Police in Nottingham closed down a number of city centre roads as they investigated the major incident. Members of the public have been warned to stay away from the area and use alternative routes.NottinghamLive has reported that at least six roads are closed and huge police cordons are in place due to the incident. Chief Inspector Neil Humphries, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Officers are currently on scene at multiple road closures due to an ongoing incident.
Ilkeston Road in Radford, Magdala Road, near Mapperley Park, Maples Street, Hyson Green, and Woodborough Road - from the junction of Magdala Road heading into the city - and Maid Marian Way at the junction of Parliament Street are all closed.
