A responding state trooper was also struck in the head twice when trying to arrest the man.
The man, identified as 20-year-old Thomas Wycoski, later began throwing punches at the EMTs who were trying to give him medical care and he hit one medical worker in the arm. They attempted to tell Wycoski who they were, but he didn’t respond and gave them a blank stare,A responding state trooper was also struck in the head twice while trying to arrest Wycoski, according to reports.
Wycoski was also said to have damaged a nearby vehicle during the altercation, causing over $1,300 in damages. He was transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center for evaluation and was later arraigned on multiple charges, including aggravated assault, simple assault, and resisting arrest. He was also charged with harassment and disorderly conduct, according to reports.
