The Malaysia Armed Forces is prepared to assist the Meteorological Department in carrying out cloud seeding operations to combat the current heatwave and lack of rainfall in the country. The Royal Malaysia Airforce is on standby to participate in the process if necessary.
The Malaysia Armed Forces is ready to cooperate with the Meteorological Department (Met Malaysia ) to carry out cloud seeding operations if there is a need due to the current heatwave and lack of rainfall in the country, says Adly Zahari. The Deputy Defence Minister said that usually, the Royal Malaysia Airforce (RMAF) would be involved in the cloud seeding process but there had not been any requests so far.
