A strong, dangerous storm system moved through the Oklahoma City metro overnight Saturday.
Several reported tornadoes touched down in southeast Oklahoma City causing damage to the city and suburbs around it like Valley Brook, Del City, and Harrah.Search and rescue efforts were underway early Sunday morning in Valley Brook.
There are several reported injuries in Valley Brook. In Oklahoma City, OKCPD reported six people were injured in the tornado and had to be taken to the hospital. Five of the injured people came from the same area of town. OKCPD reported all of the injuries were non-life-threatening.Across Oklahoma City and Del City, power lines and large trees were downed by the storm. At least 35,000 people were without power as of 3 a.m. Sunday.
