Parts of A27 and A26 remain closed this morning
The A26 in Eridge Green near Crowborough, East Sussex, has now been reported as closed this morning after a "traffic problem". An earlier incident in the area noted that there had been a problem with a lorry and an oil spill, but this is yet to be confirmed.Police issue statement on A27 Hammerpot collision last night
Sussex Police have confirmed details of the incident today. A spokesperson for the force said: "Three car collision. The road was closed while enquiries were carried out and to ensure the road is safe for other vehicles. Road reopened. No injuries."Sussex Police have confirmed this morning that a driver died following the A27 collision last night near Arundel and Fontwell.
