Shorter began his career as a heralded recruit at Penn State in 2018. He wound up transferring to Florida in 2020, and was selected in the fifth-round, 150th-overall, by the Buffalo Bills in April’s NFL Draft.Washington was taken in the sixth-round, 185th-overall, by the Jaguars in the draft.
