Minnie Mouse is getting a 60-foot balloon at this year’s event joining Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy, as other Disney characters who debuted in the famous parade.
A new addition is coming to this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade for fans to enjoy for the holidays.For the first time ever, a Minnie Mouse balloon will debut on Nov. 28 at the popular spectacle.Minnie Mouse is getting a 60-foot balloon at the parade, joining other Disney characters who had balloons featured in the event. A Mickey Mouse and Pluto balloon debuted in 1934, Donald Duck’s balloon appeared in 1935 and Goofy’s in 1992.

Minnie has also been a staple at Disney parks, where 1986 was declared Minnie’s year, giving her much deserved recognition, per the Disney Fan Club website.
