Mac Jones might have to tone down his trash talk this season — for his own good.
In the recent Netflix documentary “Quarterback,” Patrick Mahomes said he thought that defensive linemen go a little easier on quarterbacks who are nice.on Tuesday at training camp — but said there’s one quarterback who pushes it too far in the other direction.
“Philip Rivers was a good trash talker, but he was never disrespectful, Mac Jones actually, he was kind of disrespectful,” Campbell said. “I’m like, ‘Hold on, man.’ [It was] just trash talk to the highest level.
