The annual event, running Jan. 20 through Feb. 15, will feature a parade, special food offerings and arts-and-crafts activities.

The park’s Lunar New Year celebration activities include arts-and-crafts such as Chinese calligraphy demonstrations and an interactive Lucky Wishes Wall. “Mulan’s Lunar New Year Procession” returns with characters such as Mushu, Mickey Mouse and Minnie dressed in festive attire.

Food is a popular part of this annual celebration. This year’s new culinary offerings include two marketplaces called Bamboo Blessings and Wrapped with Love. Tasting-size portions created by Disney chefs will be served at themed kiosks such as Lucky 8 Lantern, Prosperity Bao & Buns, Red Spice Traders and Longevity Noodle Co. The food offerings will extend to Paradise Garden Grill and Lucky Fortune Cookie.

The character Raya from “Raya and the Last Dragon” will interact with guests in the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail at Disney California Adventure Park.
