Mega Million lottery tickets worth nearly $650,000 were sold at stores in Antioch and San Leandro on Tuesday.
No one won the Mega Millions state lottery jackpot of $489 million Tuesday, but two people playing in Antioch and San Leandro are both $648,035 richer, officials said.
The tickets were purchased at a 7-Eleven convenience store at 4355 Hillcrest Ave. in Antioch, and a Bevbox liquor store at 138 W. Juana Ave. in San Leandro.They both picked all five regular game numbers, which were 5, 22, 24, 39 and 42, but not the Mega number, which for Tuesday was 3.The winners have 180 days from the day of the draw to claim their money.
