One couple worried they had lost their cat to the wilderness.
“So I never told the story on Facebook because it was too traumatic, but now we’re ready to tell the story,” she said in a recent Facebook post .
The Anguianos tried to find Rayne Beau before they left Yellowstone, searching the park every day with the help of rangers and other camps, leaving out treats to lure the cat back. But nothing worked. Then, 60 days later, they received a message from Pet Watch, a service that tracks pets. It was Rayne Beau’s microchip.
“He was really depleted,” Susanne told KSBW. “He probably didn’t have a lot of energy to even go further.”
