For the first time since 2019, the Boston Marathon will be run on its traditional date of Patriots' Day in Massachusetts. Follow along for live coverage of the 126th running of the world's oldest annual marathon.
The Hopkinton, Mass., starting line will see 30,000 participants for the oldest annual marathon in the world, beginning with the men’s wheelchair at 9:02 a.m. Eastern. The 26.2-mile course ends on Boylston Street in Boston’s Back Bay, just down the road from Fenway Park, where the Red Sox will be taking on the Minnesota Twins in their traditional 11:10 a.m. game.Adrianne Haslet lost her foot in the Boston Marathon bombing. The marathon will be available on the USA Network from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Eastern time. It can also be streamed on Peacock and the NBC Sports app. The race will be replayed on the Olympic Channel at 8 p.m. Boston’sMarathon Monday is shaping up toalong the course.
