Among the most popular options were the Lola chassis, famous for its time as the tub used by Aston Martin for their factory efforts, and the Judd V-10, famous for its outrageous sounds and. Drayson Racing picked that particular pair ahead of the 2009 season.

As he gets up to speed and gets heat into the tires, the Judd V-10 sings past the golden age of American Le Mans Series GT2 cars from Corvette, BMW, and Porsche.
Drayson Racing, a private team run by English politician and actual Baron Paul Drayson, only ran one more season of American Le Mans Series races after 2009. The team was mostly unsuccessful, but it had one moment in the sun at Road America in 2010. Johnny Cocker ran second on the final lap of the race, five seconds behind the leading Klaus Graf with a full fuel load while Graf was forced to aggressively save fuel.
