Just over six years after the movie was first announced to be in the works, the live-action Lilo & Stitch remake has finally landed a release date.

The official Disney Twitter account shared a brief video clip to promote the Lilo & Stitch live-action remake. The post shows the CGI recreation of the beloved titular alien running against a white background and through part of the text on screen, which switches from saying"Only In Theaters" to"Only In Theaters May 23, 2025", confirming the movie has finally been set for a big screen release from the studio.
