The Licking County Emergency Warming Center Task Force has announced the opening of a warming center to provide shelter for individuals seeking refuge from the cold.
The center will be at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 592 West Main Street in Newark. The warming center will operate during the following hours.Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. Friday will provide evening meals and breakfast daily for those utilizing the warming center.will offer free transportation to the center. A van will make evening loops from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
