Readers suggest what might end the Israel-Hamas war; defend the U.S. Postal Service; say pre-testing would help with financial aid forms; and explain how building permits work.
How many of our leaders get to pick and choose which laws to obey because of political or personal choice? The answer should be none. Zero. That goes for all levels of government.We have an election coming up in November. I urge everyone to become and stay informed from reliable news sources. This does not include TikTok, Facebook and X . Then vote. Remember, if you don’t have someone to vote for, you always have someone to vote against.
I can understand that many millennials don’t like the idea of their tax dollars being spent on something they never use, but there are a great many Americans who rely on the services that the postal service provides. I don’t have any kids attending school, but I still have to pay my school taxes.I agree completely with Stephenson regarding financial aid forms. The part of the process that went wrong was the lack of pre-testing, which seems to be common among all levels of government.
