Dallas deserves better. We must strive to embody respect and decency in all our interactions, focusing on constructive dialogue and positive change.I thought it was a brilliant retort by Rep. Jasmine Crockett given the fact that Rep. James Comer refused to strike Marjorie Taylor Greene’s words from the record. These are different times we live in politically. The time for letting Republicans walk all over Democrats is now in the past. And if that’s what it takes to silence Greene, so be it.

In the fifth paragraph, you state in part, “another pointless House committee hearing set up for purely partisan reasons.” This implies that the committee has no authority to investigate the attorney general for not responding to its subpoena for records.I’m embarrassed. Are you? The things that come out of Marjorie Taylor Greene’s mouth are shocking and wrong, but we have come to expect that from her. I am a little surprised that Rep.
