Fascinating to learn that Google Chromebooks have a “baked-in death date” of three to six years. Would we accept that with any other consumer product, like a car, or a stereo? We would not.
While announcing this closure, the county library system said that libraries strengthen communities and transform lives every day. Closure of the library is like putting a dagger in the heart of the local community. This library is very close to Logan High School with over 4,000 kids. They depend on this library after school to do their homework in the afternoon. There are many opportunities for our kids to go off track and ruin their lives.
Glazer blames treatment for those on the streets being blocked by “civil rights groups,” when it has beenthat have mostly made these decisions. He also throws in “our woeful performance on homelessness” and “a cautionary tale of failed promises” without any detail.
