East Bay Times Letters to the Editor for April 6, 2023
Good to see BART is feeling some pressure to finally deal with some of its issues. But what took so long?
I can’t help but think of the reason why our Founding Fathers wrote the freedom of the press into the very first amendment. Because they knew that a more transparent government is more responsible and accountable to the people. And I certainly hope, but I’m not very optimistic, that Fox News agrees and televises the proceedings in full, unlike their coverage of the Jan. 6 hearings and the Dominion case.
