Stevie Nicks performs at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival on Sunday, June 19, 2022 in Manchester, Tenn. That night in 1983, Nicks performed her hits “Stand back” and “Nightbird” on an “ SNL ” episode hosted by comedian Flip Wilson.this week Nicks is set to be the guest on the Oct. 12 episode hosted by singer Ariana Grande, who’s starring in the upcoming film adaptation of popular stage musical “Wicked.”The Nicks/Grande ep is part of the 50th season of “ SNL .
In 2019, Nicks became the first female two-time Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee. She was first enshrined with Fleetwood Mac and then as a solo artist.
