Leeds and Man United strongly condemn ‘completely unacceptable’ chants during Sunday's game LUFC MUFC LEEMUN
issued a joint statement as they vowed to work together to eradicate chants of this nature from the game.It read: “Both clubs strongly condemn chanting from both sets of fans regarding historic tragedies at today’s game.
“Such behaviour is completely unacceptable and we will continue to work together with our respective fan groups and the Premier League and other authorities on eradicating it from football.
The result sees Man United go second in the table, but Manchester City will reclaim the position if they avoid defeat at home to Aston Villa on Sunday. Meanwhile, the result means Leeds are just a point above the relegation zone with 18th-placed Everton facing Liverpool on Monday night.
