The lawsuit also includes an October 2022 X post from Jackson that asked Langton if she"work[ed] doing something someone promised would make you a star?" Before his school board candidacy, Jackson rose to prominence in Fairfax County due to his opposition to changes to the admissions process at Thomas Jefferson High School, a magnet school in the county that was ranked best in the nation before the admissions process was changed in a bid to increase the number of black and brown students. A lawsuit to restore the old admissions standards is ongoing.
