Police responding to a welfare check found the body Monday in the 5300 block of West Old 106th Street, near Zionsville Road.
Keith Cole was convicted after a March trial in the death of Daniel Baxter, who was fatally shot while sitting at a stoplight.INDIANAPOLIS — A Lawrence man was sentenced to 63 years in prison for the deadly 2020 shooting of another man on Indianapolis' near northeast side.
The evening of the shooting, an IMPD lieutenant saw Baxter's car crash near the intersection. Baxter was found inside unresponsive with gunshot wounds.
