The Las Vegas Raiders are reportedly paying Chip Kelly $6 million, a number that's triple his 2024 Ohio State salary and nearly identical to his salary as UCLA’s head coach.
Per Breer's report, Kelly will make $6 million annually with the Raiders. That salary is triple the amount he made at OSU and nearly identical to his compensation in his final year as UCLA's head coach in 2023 . That number will make Kelly the highest-paid coordinator in pro football.told candidates during their search they were making a serious commitment with an infusion of cash from the new owners.
With Kelly calling Ohio State’s offensive plays and coaching the Buckeyes’ quarterbacks, Ohio State scored 35.7 points per game – an increase of more than five points per game from 2023 – and Will Howard completed a school-record 73% of his passes while leading the Buckeyes to a national championship.
