A landslide in the Santa Cruz Mountains has blocked hundreds of residents’ access to main roads and freeways on the northern border of Santa Cruz County.
Residents first noticed the slow-moving landslide in late February, located just south of Lexington Reservoir on Mountain Charlie Road. While residents can still hike through the landslide to cross to their homes, changing weather conditions and incoming storms could change that over the next few weeks.
