Lancashire mum impresses with salmon burger on Gordon Ramsay show
A self-taught food blogger mum from Lancashire best known for her Instagram recipes, tips and cooking hacks is testing her skills under extreme pressure on TV. Jade Greenhalgh from Burscough is competing on ITV's Next Level Chef, which is fronted by Michelin-starred Gordon Ramsay and requires contestants to cook a dish to impress the notoriously hard to please chef.
The victory takes her and fellow 'Team Ramsay' chefs Toby and Callum, who are both professional cooks, into the next round. On hearing her burger had won, Jade, who focuses on creating 'affordable and achievable' dishes in her social media posts, said: "I'm ecstatic, I am thrilled that I got top dish.
Each week a chef is eliminated, with the 'losing' teams relegated to the basement kitchen for the round, airing every Wednesday. The ultimate goal is to finish in the 'top kitchen' of the 50ft -high three-storey kitchen spaces.
