Los Angeles Lakers second-year shooting guard Max Christie turned some heads during the NBA Summer League this year with how much his game grew so quickly. He almost looked like a completely different player from his first season in the NBA, and that is great news for LA.Christie also showed a strong ability to knock down three-point shots as well, giving him another element to his overall game.
His performance led many to believe that he had locked up a spot in the rotation, and that continued itself during the team's opening preseason game against the Golden State Warriors. Christie scored 15 points in the game, and head coach Darvin Ham praised him afterward, as“He’s a guy that can be one of our most versatile basketball players on the roster. He can guard multiple positions, from the 1 to the 3 and some 4s,” Ham said.
He is showing why the Lakers took him in the draft, and it has been great to see. If he keeps up this level of production,
