Copeland said he could not confirm, nor deny the investigation involves photos allegedly taken by Mieling. He added that no charges had been filed in the case.Mieling was elected to the City Council in April after running uncontested in the city’s municipal elections after receiving the support of the Lake Forest Caucus.
