Breya Cunningham and Jada Williams will play in the April 8 game in Portlland; they've also been named McDonald's All-Americans
Already named to play for the West in the McDonald’s All-American Game in March, La Jolla Country Day’s dynamic duo of Breya Cunningham and Jada Williams have been tabbed to represent the United States in the inaugural women’s Nike Hoop Summit.
The USA Nike Summit Hoops Teams were selected by the USA Basketball Men’s and Women’s Development National team Committees.The World Team rosters will be announced at a later date and will draw players from Africa, The Americas, Asia, Europe and Oceania.Williams and Cunningham will also play in the March 28 McDonald’s All-American Game in Houston.
Along with Williams and Cunningham, the three were members of the 2021 U16 USA National Team that won gold at the FIBA Americas Championships in Leon, Mexico.
