This week’s KPRC 2 and UTMB Health Athlete of the week is senior Dawson softball play Cara Pittman.
–
Pittman signed to play college softball at Houston Christian University, where she’ll play 3rd base and utility, a role she mainly filled before stepping into the circle this year. “The past two years that I’ve been here, she’s been voted by the team twice to be team captain.” said Boles. “So that, one and in of itself says a lot. Last year she did a lot of third base for us, and this year she’s stepped up a lot.”
