Kickoff for Rutgers football's road game against Virginia Tech was announced Monday.

The last meeting at Lane Stadium between the two teams came in 2002, the second season of Greg Schiano’s first stint as Rutgers head coach; the Scarlet Knights suffered a 35-14 loss.
