New hot SUV gets more power, performance-focused chassis tweaks and a range of styling upgrades
The Kia EV9 GT is in the final stages of testing ahead of its launch as the Korean brand's most powerful and expensive car yet. The hot EV will join the base-model EV9 as the latest in an expanding list of electric cars from the brand, touting more power, performance-focused chassis tweaks and a range of styling upgrades.
It remains to be seen if the GT version will carry this feature over. Over the standard car, the EV9 GT will receive the same raft of chassis enhancements as the EV6 GT, meaning it will be given better cooling, an upgraded steering system, and new suspension components that target cornering dynamics. Those dynamics are currently being honed at the Nurburgring, where the car has been pictured testing.
