“That was a shot where I was not under control. And it cost us a championship,' Steph Curry said.
“I just need a little space,” Curry told ESPN three years later, recounting his thought process. “And that’s where I started to rush. I look back and think I could have easily gone around and gotten a 2, and we could’ve gotten a stop, and then I could’ve come down and hit another shot, and we win the championship instead of me going for the hero shot, which I felt like I could make.

Thirty seconds, one free throw and another missed Curry 3 later, Cleveland claimed a champion for the first time in 52 years. And the Warriors claimed the bestteam of all time – nothing more. Neither was possible without Love, the tall, lumbering forward who couldn’t defend in space.
