Katie Holmes has nailed that posh New York City art philanthropist look we’re so used to seeing around Museum Mile.On Tuesday evening, the actor and director debuted the most sophisticated, artful ensemble to attend the annual American Ballet Theatre Spring Gala. The highlight of the look was Holmes’s flowy black gown.
Ever the minimalist, Holmes let the dress shine, pairing it only with classic staples: pointy black suede pumps and a mini black handbag. She did add to the artistic theme with her jewelry, opting for two large gold cocktail rings and sculptural gold earrings that looked like long teardrops, mimicking the design of her dress. She also wore her go-to nose hoop.The Rare Objects star completed her look with shimmery silver eye shadow, bronzy makeup, and a messy low ponytail.
