DOTHAN, Ala. - News4 is back in Kathy’s Southern Kitchen for a new installment of “Cooking with Kinsley.” Kinsley Centers takes a trip to Kathy’s home to learn how to cook the perfect cast iron ribeye steaks ahead of Father’s Day.
Easterling explained the rich history of the Alabama CattleWomen’s Association which was founded back in 1953 as the “Alabama Cow Belles.” In 1988 the association changed its name to “Alabama CattleWomen’s Association.” This tradition was started in 1956. A couple of years later in 1958 the association actually took the steaks to the governor.
4. Add the steaks to the skillet. Cook them approximately 2 minutes per side and 30 seconds on the edges.
