“It’s so hard,” Kate Hudson explained. “All you want is your kid to thrive and be happy. But, man, when I’m in LA, and I go to the coffee machine in the morning, and I don’t hear his voice, it’s a big one.”
In a Sunday Sitdown interview with Willie Geist, Hudson shared what it’s been like to lean on her longtime pal as they both see their kids off to college.
“Our kids were in school together, and we both have that moment together. When we look at each other, we’re like, ‘How you doin’?” Hudson, who stars in"Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery," explained in the interview, which aired on Sunday TODAY on Dec. 18. “Cause we experienced it at the same time.” This year Hudson saw her 18-year-old son, Ryder, move to the other side of the country to attend college, which she said presented a significant shake-up to her daily routine.
