Prince William and Kate Middleton attended the opening ceremony of the Glade of Light memorial set up in honour of the victims of the Manchester bombings on Tuesday
Prince William and Kate Middleton were seen honouring the victims of the Manchester Arena bombings as they attended the official opening of the memorial of the incident on Tuesday.
The Royal couple previously visited the city’s cathedral in May 2018, as they attended the national service of commemoration there on the first anniversary of the attack carried out by Salman Abedia which saw 22 people killed at Ariana Grande's concert. "As someone who lives with his own grief, I also know that what often matters most to the bereaved is that those we have lost are not forgotten," William said.
After the speech, the Duke and Duchess laid flowers on the Glade of Light memorial along with Manchester Council leader Councillor Bev Craig.
