The first photos from Karate Kid: Legends, the new Karate Kid movie starring Ralph Macchio, Jackie Chan, & Ben Wang, have been revealed.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Karate Kid: Legends follows Li Fong, who is originally from Beijing, as he moves to New York City with his mother, played by Ming-Na Wen. He proceeds to get into trouble at school and finds himself getting dragged into fights, which then leads him to karate.
“When a new friend needs his help, Li enters a karate competition — but his skills alone aren’t enough,” the synopsis reads. “Li’s kung fu teacher Mr. Han enlists original Karate Kid Daniel LaRusso for help, and Li learns a new way to fight, merging their two styles into one for the ultimate martial arts showdown.
